The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through nearly a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
You Can Make A Difference
By participating at the Savannah Rod Run as a car owner, sponsor or a vendor you are helping
us make a difference with boys in scouting. This includes Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and
Venturing.
The originator of the Savannah Rod Run, Warren Williams, has been in scouting as a boy and
an adult. He has two boys in Cub Scouts Pack 26 and is an
active leader with the pack.
"This gives me a chance to give back to scouting what my boys
and I have received. Hopefully you can help too."
